Im out of town. Out with with friends and co-workers. Although I and Geline planned to join this trip a month ago but this morning we agreed not to join and last minute we changed our minds due to Virgie’s persuasion skill.

I am on Vacation Leave since yesterday while Geline arranged to move her off today just so she can come. Interesting note, Geline never got a chance to sleep since she came home from work this morning, we spent the whole morning arguing whether to come or not. Harhar. She is sleeping behind me while I’m writing this.

Believe it or not, I have this mac with me due to a work that needs to be finish before the end of the day. That’s the main reason why I was hesitant to have this out of town trip today. Thanks to the resto downstairs that offers wi-fi connection. Anyhoo, this day need not to be spoiled. I don’t get much chance to be with Virgie and Geline so we all deserve to have fun today.

I’m here at the resto, just a few meters away from our cottage. I need to download some big files so i had to go down here for fast download. I’ll post more pictures later.

My baby is sick

Mumaw is sick. I can’t take care of him as much as I want to since he’s in Bicol. He was brought to a clinic but the vet was not there. I called the vet and got a prescription. Somehow I feel relieved but mumaw still needs to go back to the clinic 3 days from now. My brother told me Mumaw made himself comfortable on the way to the clinic and was very quiet until they got some baked goodies. You know what happened next.

Farewell mumaw!

My little furry boy is gone. I dont’t remember how many times did my mama and papa beg to take mumaw home (Naga City) and I don’t know as well how many times I refused. Despite the fact that we hired a house maid who could help us take care of Mumaw, I still sent him home today. That was not an easy decision. But I know my family can give him more attention, more space and more loooveee. You have no idea how I felt while I’m packing his shampoo, powder, clothes, scarf, pedigree & registration certificate and vaccine card.

Don’t worry my little boy, I will see you this September. Mommy will miss you a lot and your soccer ball too.

I’m keeping my paw’s crossed!

Mommy sent a photo of me to Cutestpetcontest.com and luckily my photo was choosen as one of the semi-finalist in the contest. I’m keeping my paws crossed.

Today is my first Birthday!

Yes, today is not an ordinary day. Because I have orbited the sun! Oh, I have been such a very good pug! But not too good– and certainly not all the time! Mommy’s been really busy trying to get some of her projects done and hasn’t had much time to play with me. I’m glad that today, my birthday, she dropped all her works, gave me a ‘lil party and type these words out for me… you know keyboards are not made for puggie paws.

He can’t be an angel all the time

I decided to let mumaw sleep with me in the room the other night and here is my view right where I opened my eyes that morning. Good thing I have the camera placed on my night stand and so I have a photographic proof.

The following day I let him sleep with me again. I found him on my bedfoot munging angelo’s usb bluetooth when I woke up. I took it and went back sleeping. I heard angelo arrived, I gave him his usb and he looked for mumaw. And when we noticed he is nowhere our sight, he ran to his room and found mumaw very comfortable in his bed.

A liitle clay art for today

We have a summer theme acitivity today. When I got in the office I found bars of clay near my desk. So I made myself busy while taking calls, and this is the finish product.

I hope we can take a walk in a green grass with little snails and little flowers adorned with little butterflies. And we will leave our footprints (me and boo) and of course a paw print of my precious little boy… mumaw.

Weekend spirit

I and boo was supposed to see a movie last saturday. But he said his new boss from NJ will call him and talk to him about his contract with them and so it was rescheduled Sunday. But he, again, made an excuse the following day that he lack sleep.

I find it rather hard to get into the weekend spirit without some kind of going out, shop or get a piece of my fave bread… the firefloss of Breadtalk. And on top of all, he promised we will purchase a harness for mumaw.

He wanted to stay in. However, I worked 6 days straight that week and the one day left for rest was spent cleaning, doing the laundry and organizing the house while he was watching tv and surfing the web. He was not in the mood but I insisted to go out last saturday night. I had to get my prince a new harness. We agreed to ran to Waltermart, a 2-km away department store from home, and get mumaw a new harness. But you see, I’m a happy puggin mom, so I also bought ,for the first time,a doggie shirt with a Killer print at the back and a doggie bowl.

I grabbed a heavy stainless steel bowlswith a rubber bottom. It’s durable, easy to wash, and can not be chewed or broken. He was previously using a light-weight plastic bowl that he oftentimes chewed when playing and moved all over the floor when eating. It was also too deep and big that he always ending up getting his neck in the water.

I pick a different harness this time, I believe it’s what they called H-harness and I also believe his previous harness is called step-in. Just correct me if Im, wrong. We use harness for him because he has a thick neck but a small head. Using a collar would not be advisable for him as he can easily pull it out of his head.

This is mumaw sporting his new harness and ‘killer’ shirt in St Paul Chapel after the mass. Macho Guapito!
