Yahoo acquired by Microsoft?

Early this month Microsoft proposed a 42- billion-dollar acquisition of Yahoo, a classic case of a buyer overbidding to blow any potential competitors out of the water said James Owers, a Georgia State University professor of corporate finance. Suprisingly, I found this while exploring Flickr, a popular online photo management and sharing application acquired by Yahoo almost 3 years ago, in search for the best online gallery solution.
