MAMP, mac version of WAMP - Apache and SQL Server

I am looking for an easy way to install PHP and Apache in MAC much in the same way WAMP does for PC. And I found MAMP. I am downloading it right now. I’ll see if this will work in Leopard.

It’s good to go for a domain registration at first, before hiring a web designer for the purpose of website design. Each process has its own steps i.e. taking free web hosting comes first and later you can think of taking seo services. Keep in mind the seo tactics while designing your website.

Macbook keyboard shield

I went back to Power MAC Center in Greenbelt today. I was hoping I could get a transparent keyboard shield. It was out of stock the last time I visit, and I was still unlucky today. So I got myself a white keyboard protection shield instead. It cost me PhP 1,400. More expensive than the transparent one but i’ts definitely worth it. It’s smooth and soft to touch and beautifully fits Macy. It can keep a dirt, fluid, food and other junks out.

I also did a little shopping. I bought 5 tops and a retroish cardigan. They were cute but thin. I shop bargain stuff every now and then but wouldn’t recommend buying them.

I really don’t see it much as a protection against employer abuse and human rights violation, but a reason for recruitment agency to celebrate and  loss of job oppurtunity for OFW’s.

I just can’t decide about my gallery. I really wish I can move out from PBase soon. I have been bugging Zenphoto’s developer about it’s security. Arrghh!

Anyhoo, I’m free in the next 3 days. Wish I could finally redesign PBS’s theme. I’m keeping my finger’s crossed.

Undecided with my gallery

I am desperately looking for the best online gallery solution. I am currently a PBase supporter and paying them $23/year. I actually have a roomy space from my webhost which can acomodate thousands of high quality pictures and high traffic but I simply can’t find an open source gallery that  is similar to pbase. Simple, clean, fast and  not bloated. I have tried Gallery 2 but I often get database  errors and it’s soooo slow. Some dreamhost user’s are experiencing the same case. I also tried Zenphoto, at first I thought it’s exactly what I need but I don’t find it secured. A password protected gallery can be access if your guest can guess the filename of the picture. Oh well, I’m tired and I want to sleep now. I’m overly tired that I want to sleep for the next 2 days.

As a webmaster, you should be conscious when buying a domain name. It’s good if your niche keywords appear in your website name. Like if you are going to launch a website related to broadband and dsl; your domain should cntain the word dsl. Its in your best interest in the field of online marketing.
